Water
Dragons of Petrie Creek
Dragons
by the dozen, - in the shade,
Of huge wooden monoliths, who stand,
Growing, assimilating time, and made,
With love by angel, and fairy hand.
So still my dragons
sit and ponder,
Statues, to a time gone by, and dreaming,
How fairy folk wove their webs of wonder,
And clothed the world in rainbows shimmering.
I see myself upon my dragon's back, and....
We glide into the river of remembrance,
Glittering waters lap round my submerged hand,
As I'm carried unresisting, in the endless dance
Joy spills over, as
truth flows through me,
I'm clothed with love, in rainbows shimmering,
By fairy folk laughing, and real I see,
This most wonderful world that remembers me.
