This exercise can be used at any time - particularly if
you are angry or upset -
or if you are just in need of a bit of a lift….
Energising / Grounding exercise:
Sit with your feet firmly
on the ground. Your spine straight and your arms in a
comfortable position with the palms upwards.
Let your eyes gently close
and take a deep breath…..hold…and breath out fully. Flex
and relax your muscles, and allow your body to gently
find its inner balance.
Now, imagine that your
feet are growing roots...these roots are going down,
down, deep into the centre of our earth. Imagine
the beautiful fiery energies there at the centre, vital,
strong.
Draw these energies up through your roots and feel them
flowing into your body, grounding and balancing.
And now imagine that your
arms and the crown of your head are creating branches
which are growing upwards. Further and further, out into
the universe.
Through
your inner consciousness feel those incredible eternal
Divine energies that balance galaxies, and hold our
solar system in a symphony of moving perfection. See in
your minds eye, the sun, the moon, the planets, and feel
the power of these perfect energies as you draw them
down through your branches, and into your body
energising, revitalising, and healing. The energies of
earth and cosmos are spiralling and merging within you
now, creating a continuous flow and return of living
energy. Rest for a while in warmth and security
absorbing all you need.
Mentally give thanks to the Divine Source knowing that
these energies are infinite, eternal and available to
you whenever you have need.
Now, when you are ready -
take a deep breath…hold…and breath out fully as you
slowly open your eyes
feeling energized and completely at peace
with your world
Imagination is the greatest tool you will ever own.
Never dis-own it.
Imagination can take you anywhere, anywhen - through all
dimensions of time and space,
opening doors to intuition, deep knowing, and lifting
your consciousness.
Use it
well and often!
